WHY ARE BEES IMPORTANT?
Bees play a vital role of bringing life to our planet. Bees have thrived for millions of years and have adapted to pollinate, helping plants grow and produce food. They make our lives effortless by ensuring food security, nutrition, maintenance of biodiversity and vibrant ecosystems. The variety of food available to us is majorly owed to pollinators like bees.
Not only do they create delicious honey, but they also keep the cycle of life turning.
OUR AIMS
We strive towards saving the Bee Population!
Raise Awareness about the importance of Bees
Provide unique alternatives that are affordable, sustainable and Eco-friendly.
Increase pollination of plants
Prevent the collapse of honey production
FACTS ABOUT BEES
Out of all the known 20,000 species of bees, only 7 can produce honey. So it is vital to protect them.
A toxin present in bee venom, called 'melittin' may prevent HIV. Therefore, bee products provide many routes to medical development.
Bees are also crucial to our economy – without them it would cost UK farmers £1.8 billion a year to pollinate our crops.
